Melissa Langsam Braunstein is an independent writer and communications strategist in Washington, DC. She is a contributor to the Family Studies blog. Melissa’s work has appeared in The New York Times, National Review Online, RealClear Politics, and the Washington Examiner, and she has been a guest on Fox News, EWTN, and WMAL.
Melissa previously spent seven years working for the U.S. government. She served primarily as a speechwriter at four federal agencies, including: the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of State. Melissa earned her B.A. from Harvard College and her M.P.P. from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where she was a Pforzheimer Fellow.
